Dear Vincent -

I am very happy to hear from the son of one of my WWII buddies. Although your writing for information tells me that your dad has "left" us. I'm sorry. I didn't answer your letter sooner, but it takes longer to do things these days.
I was company clerk and got along very well with your dad and everyone else in the outfit. I had every day contact with your dad - a very pleansant "guy." I knew where Parham was (is) but I did not know your dad found his young lady there. I was married before I went into the Army. Perhaps that is why we didn't see much of your dad on "off" times.
Sorry I couldn't do more for you. Take care of yourself and God Bless you and yours.
Affectionately,
Angelo Mirabito

[On the phone.] You dad never got in any trouble/any fights. He was a very nice man. My wife Josephine met him while we were staioned at Ft. Benning, prior to being shipped out.
