Harry Price obituary
Times, Tuesday March 30, 1948

Paul Tabori says Harry's father was a "well-known paper manufacturer," on page 20 of his Biography of a Ghost Hunter. Trevor Hall makes much of this, saying Price lied about his background, and therefore lied about other things. Hall also viciously attacked my mother and many others, but Tabori may have been more objective. Hall says Price's father was an unemployed London shopkeeper. Ivan Banks tried to find any kind of certificate to prove this either way, but came up empty - Enigma of Borley Rectory. Price's birth could not be documented by Banks.
