The most incredible web site on paranormal phenomena is simply called Man and the Unknown. It is multi-lingual,
including translations in French, German and Spanish. Other languages are being worked on,
including Dutch. The amazing feature that makes this site absolutely unique are several
recordings from beyond.
- Art Bell brings his radio show
to the 'net - live! Listen to his theme song or link to a variety of investigative sites.
- If you would like to join a ghost club, start a ghost club, view ghostly photos, find tips on
hunting ghosts, purchase ghost-hunting tools and t-shirts, or get on a mailing list, link up to the
International Ghost Hunters Society. Membership is
free.
- Pat Cody has an interesting article about The Ghosts at Catfish
Plantation in Texas. A photo is included showing what might be a ghost at the dinner
table.
- Loyd Auerbach describes himself as a parapsychologist, magician, and mentalist. He is the
director of the Office of Paranormal
Investigations. His web site is very unique with awesome graphics, lots of information, and
a nice little ditty in the background. I highly recommend a visit.

- Speaking of the Loch Ness Monster, Nessie has
her own official web site in the U.K.
- Zerotime may seem like an odd
name, but the pages on this site are well worthwhile. It offers information on ghosts and
poltergeists including the best places to experience phenomena, suggested equipment for ghost
hunting, and legends. One of the most useful pages is a growing list of local ghost clubs so you
can find a research group close to you. The page on Poltergeists is of particular interest, as it
outlines five levels of activity. A Java chat room is also available.
- You can join a psychic search for the Arc of the
Covenant with Gerry Cannon.
- A sophisticated look at paranormal phenomena can be found at the Anomalous Cognition (or PSI) section of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of
Amsterdam. If you wade through the FAQ's you will find a simple English version of what is
open for study - "These anomalies fall into three general categories: ESP, PK, and phenomena
suggestive of survival after bodily death, including near-death experiences, apparitions, and
reincarnation." The page goes on to say, "The University of Amsterdam does not offer an
educational program but a course in parapsychology can be attended at the Univeristy of Utrecht
or on-line."
- The link to this
"Introduction into Empirical and Theoretical Parapsychology" indicates the classes will taught again in 2000.
- The RetroPsychoKinesis Project is located
within the University of Kent at Canterbury, England. It offers a Retropsychokinesis Experiment
On-Line. This is basically a test to see if your mind can influence random outcomes. Ongoing
reports and research papers fill up the site. It also includes a comprehensive Retrocausality
Bibliography.
- Dr. Dean Radin is featured on the The Consciousness Research Laboratory of the Medical
Psychophysics Research
Institute, Inc. web site. It "conducts scientific research on commonly-reported but poorly
understood human experiences called psychic phenomena." There are no reports given, but
the reader is referred to books and articles by Radin for further study.
- The Rhine Research Center is a "non-profit research
and education organization established to explore the unusual types of experiences that suggest
capabilities as yet unrecognized in the domain of human personality, and to investigate those
capabilities thoroughly by exact scientific methods. The Center is successor to the Duke
University Parapsychology Laboratory and carries forward that famed laboratory's research
mission and educational programs." Among other things, it offers an 8-week Summer Study
Program. "The main thrusts of the Institute for Parapsychology's research programs are in the
areas of ESP and PK."
- The Princeton Engineering
Anomalies Research program offers another scientific study. "The most substantial portion
of the PEAR program examines anomalies arising in human/machine interactions. In these
experiments human operators attempt, solely by volition, to influence the behavior of a variety of
mechanical, electronic, optical, acoustical, and fluid devices to conform to pre-stated intentions."
- For German-speaking students of the paranormal, you might try the Abteilung für
Psychologie und Grenzgebiete der Psychologie.
- A bi-lingual site exists in Italian and English at The Centre for
Parapsychological Studies of Bologna, Italy. "A
course for those people who want to become researcher in the parapsychological
field is ongoing."
- The Bio-Emission Laboratory in
Japan describes the result of its work: "We have corroborative investigation about the latent talent
of the human being, for instance, the influence of one's mind and consciousness on his body,
someone else and the matters." This site is bi-lingual English and Japanese.
- Another English/Japanese site offers a look at the International Society of Life Information
Science. It seeks to "clearly recognize and identify the unsolved phenomena using scientific
positive methodology."
- The Fondazione Biblioteca
Bozzano-De Boni offers an English/Italian preview of its paranormal studies.

The Society for Paranormal Exploration, Classification, Technical Research and Enquiry, -
SPECTRE - "was founded in November, 1997 with specific aims to apply scientific methods to
the study of anomalous or inexplicable phenomena, mainly those events perceived to be of psychic
origin."
- Len Gilbert has created the New
Orleans Cemetery & Voodoo pages. You will find photos, information, and links to related
sites.
- A commercial site offers a look at Kirlian
photography, with an explanation and some examples.
- The Castle of Spirits has collected
a whopping number of spooky stories. They deal with such things as spirits, the soul, ghosts,
poltergeists, entities, the possessed, spectres, and hauntings.

- A fascinating new site asks if UFOs "don't travel by physics and technology, what other
alternative is there?" Thales -
promotes the idea that "The only alternative is the immense, unknown, untapped powers of the
Mind."
- Speaking of different ways of moving around, Mind Travel Plus offers "a non-profit
world-wide-web site devoted to
Out-of-Body Experiences, Astral Projection, Lucid Dreaming, Remote Viewing,

- Take a look at The Wall, and leave your
comments about what you see. The site explains how "Mysterious events allegedly transpire in
this building due to it being erected on the site of Portland, Oregon's first cemetery. One of the
legends associated with this property states handwriting appears spontaneously upon walls. A wall
has been chosen, camera trained on same. . .[and the image is] updated throughout the day. With
the aid of modern technology, the tale can either be debunked, or proven. The camera angle is
changed monthly."
- Take an Internet course on the The History of Dreaming.
- The Dream Psi Archive
is "dedicated to extraordinary dreams. It features information on mutual, lucid, psychic, creative,
psionic and flying dreams as well as related phenomenon."
- The Fly-By-Night Club
is "dedicated to the idea that dreams are creative, psychic and just plain fun."
- Edgar Cayce, ancient Egypt, Atlantis, Iris Seer Mona Rolfe, Reiki, past lives, and crystal
skulls are discussed in the Hall of
Records.
- Amongst some colorful computer-enhanced images by RAYN, you will find his own personal ghost
story.
- Be sure to tour the Haunted
Houses of Berkshire if only through the Internet. The excellent site features snapshots and
stories about Windsor Castle, Herne the Hunter, Bisham Abbey, and Arborfield.
- The same author offers even more at Strange Thame. The location is
Oxfordshire, England, and the list of weird happenings includes ghosts, a Near Death Experience,
UFOs, witches, and much, much more.
- For a look at what waits for us, try the
International Association for Near-Death Studies, Inc. (IANDS).
- At the Farsight Institute, the mission is to use
remote viewing as a tool "to explore questions relating to consciousness and existence." It
believes, "Our physical nervous system is, in essence, a tuning device that connects us to an
underlying field of nature through which knowledge of all things is possible." The Institute offers
courses, and also an online Serious Remote Viewing manual.

- The Leading Edge newspaper has a long
list of alternative articles. Including channeling, Hale Bopp, consciousness, UFOs, healing, mind
control - including reverse speech, crystal skulls, remote viewing, and time travel.
- The McKenzie Group is based in Dayton
Ohio and calls itself "a non-profit organization specializing in the professional investigation of
legitimate paranormal phenomenon."
- Link up with the SCI-FI Channel's
"Sightings." As the promo says, "This investigative show takes a look into dramatic stories
of the paranormal."
- The Investigative Committee
for Unexplained Events describes itself as "an Alabama based informal association of
individuals interested in the study of the phenomenon of ghosts and in helping people who find
themselves involved in a haunting situation." It is particularly interesting that the "ICUE does not
charge any fee for its services."
- If you weave your way through the pages of Bob's Ghost Towns in Utah, you will find a
few haunting tales submitted by visitors.
- Karen's Ghost Page features
pictures from about two dozen allegedly haunted places.
- Chingle Hall now lays claim to being the
"most haunted house in England," since Borley Rectory burned down in 1939.
- Andrew Bennett also visited
Chingle, and displays some of the photographs he took.
- For "journeys of the mind, body and soul," take a trip to "other worlds."
- Stigmata is the appearance of wounds similar to Christ's. A Newfoundland Priest has apparently
been the subject of this paranormal phenomena. Several newspaper articles are reprinted at this

- The Ghost Research Society offers case

Page takes you through Scotland, England, and Wales in search of spirits. A very beautiful
web site with excellent text and backgrounds.
- Wait for the totally dark page to load, and you will find Jennifer's Other Side of Midnight.
- The Page That Goes Bump In
The Night offers even more personal tales of hauntings. It also offers a forum and a chat
page.
- If you still want to read about visits from people who have died, move on to the page
dedicated to The Ghosts of North
Portland. Michael Ball takes you to eight different sites for some pretty chilling stories.
- If you are looking for even more haunted stories, Ghostly Guy has several from his visitors.
Even more "spooky" is a picture he offers from the summer of 1997. You gotta see this truly
paranormal-looking photo!
- A visit to The Mystical World Wide Web
will take some time, so be prepared. Under the main entry for "Ghosts," the site owners have
quoted extensively from works by Andrew Green dealing with hauntings throughout England.
These extracts are taken from Ghosts of Today which was published in 1980 but is no
longer available. This is without doubt the most extensive tour guide of English haunts on the
Internet.
- In the process of writing about an equestrian trip in Ireland, Cookie McClung has a few
sentences about Leap Castle in the middle of her narrative.
- Speaking of Leap Castle, the only site devoted strictly to that haunting belongs to the
students at Coolderry Central School a
couple of miles away.
- The latest site devoted to ghost stories both real and imagined is called Graveyard Shift.
- RANDOLPH W. LIEBECK lists himself
as a "Paranormal Investigator & Consultant." His web page says "he has conducted haunted
house investigations in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Great Britain." Some
of these articles are summarized within the site, including stories about Liebeck's work.
- Dennis William Hauck offers THE
HAUCK REPORT via free e-mail. He describes it as a way "to keep track of breaking
paranormal news." The archives are available on the web site to give you a flavor of what to
expect. You will find detailed stories, sound bites, and photographs of a great many paranormal
activities. Another great feature of the site is a state-by-state paranormal travel guide.
- An entire book on the subject of metal-bending is available on the Internet. "THE METAL-BENDERS" by JOHN B.
HASTED was written in 1981.
- Speaking of Uri Geller, this column has previously dealt with his home site. Geller fans have also put together a sort of a reference page dedicated to his exploits.
- Whilst covering mind-bending, you may want to visit the Neuro-Kinetik
site. Its stated mission is to "enable people to become psychic."
- "A weekly newsletter of the paranormal" is found at The Strange. It is weighted toward aliens
and such, but does include articles on such subjects as "Major Electromagnetic Mind Control
Projects," "Poltergeists Do Exist!" and "CHUPACABRA KILLED BY MOTORIST?"

- Wouldn't it be great to spend the night in a place you knew was haunted! The folks over at
Apparition Expeditions agree. It is their goal to
not only tour haunted places, but to stay over night whenever possible.
- Speaking of Great Britain, Ghost Tours of Nottingham
features a 'Ghost Weekend' that includes "psychic demonstrations and a past life regression, in an
atmospheric, haunted hotel!"
- One of the best lists of ghost tours is inside the pages of the Traveling Paranormal Research
Association. The author has been on some of the tours and rates them for you. Photos,
stories, and EVP are also included on this site.
- Another great source of ghost tour information is available from Invisible Ink. Contact addresses are given, and

- A CHICAGO
SUPERNATURAL TOUR is available if you have a group. Day or night tours are

- Alexandria Virginia offers a Lantern
Light Ghost Tour.
- The folks in Key West also like the
lantern idea, and invite you to walk their "shadowy lanes" where you can "discover the ghosts,
ghouls & legends of our haunted island paradise." If you mention their web site, you can save
money on an adult ticket.
- Another lantern ghost tour is available in Decatur, Illinois. You will visit
Greenwood Cemetery, "one of the most haunted graveyards in the Midwest."
- The Melbourne Ghost Tour
offers you the opportunity to visit a couple of cemeteries and Melbourne's most famous ghost:

- Selma Alabama offers a do it
yourself ghost tour complete with instructions on the Internet. The script is as complete as

- Kathleen Thomas took six different ghost tours in Savannah Georgia, and reviews

- Daily ghost tours of Charleston

- Paranormal author Dr. Dean I. Radin is the director of the Consciousness Research Laboratory. It studies psychic
phenomena of all kinds including "mind-matter interaction phenomena, distant healing intention,
clairvoyance, and precognition. . . . haunted houses and castles, persons claiming exceptional
psychic abilities." The most rewarding part of this site is the lengthy and informative Frequently
Asked Questions - FAQs. One of the more interesting questions is "Where can I get a degree in
parapsychology?" Here is the answer.
- One parapsychology course on the Internet is found at Nene College in Northampton,
England. Dr. Chris Roe is your instructor.
- The Controlled Remote Viewing home page
contains a ton of readings on the subject. At one time, visitors to the site were invited to
participate by picturing remote targets, but this section hasn't been used lately. Perhaps if you e-
mail the developer of the site?
- Vist the Haunted Houses
Architectural Research Project for a"database pertinent to the architectural,
geographical and spatial characteristics of houses with reported paranormal occurrences." So far,
no contributions are published.
- On your next trip to Toulouse France, you are invited to participate in an ESP experiment

- John Atkinson is just a
regular guy, who is conducting a Precognition Experiment. He uses the Internet to date his
predictions.
- James Randi and associates will pay over $1,000,000 to anyone who can prove psychic,

- Here are the latest Loch Ness Monster web sites:
- Greg Long tells the weird story of The Monster of Conser Lake in his site of Northwest Mysteries. Long also investigated
Washington State's Mystery Hole. No coverage from that part of the world would be complete

- Still another site proposes a theory about Ancient and Hollow Astronauts. Other sites

- Donald E. Simanek relates the fascinating story of Beringer's Autographed Stones on

- The Brisbane Ghost Hunters "wish to
try and dispel the myth that life does not continue after death." To this end, they collect
photographs and Electronic Voice Phenomena from Australian cemeteries and haunted places.
The site also lists several ghost tours throughout Australia.
- While digging around for the paranormal in Australia, check out the Australian Ghost Hunters Society. It features a
list of haunted sites in Australia, ghost photos, a chat room, stories from Internet visitors, and a

- The Connecticut Paranormal
Research Society is looking to investigate the supernatural in Connecticut. Photos,
Electronic Voice Phenomena files, and stories from previous investigations are featured.
- The Southwestern Virginia Ghost Hunters
Society looks for spirits in, well, Virgina.
- The same people from Virginia also offer a look at The Amityville Horror through a lot of
pictures.
- The Adams County Ghost Hunters
are based in Pennsylvania, and have quite a few photographs and some tales for you to look
at.
- While in Pennsylvania, head for the Philadelphia Ghost Hunters Alliance.
Its members have gathered stories, many pictures, and EVP from their area.
- Tune in the pages dedicated to Psychic Experiences for some
unusual stories from visitors. The site has a beautiful graphic as an extra bonus.
- According to the The World
Watchers, "Edgar Cayce gave over 14,000 readings between the years 1901
and 1945, covering more than 10,000 topics." On this site you will find a reading he gave about
Atlantis, and a link to the A.R.E. Research Center
founded by Cayce in 1931. The A.R.E. offers an ESP test, an Online Study Group (chat room),
and an invitation to join. I couldn't find any readings on this site.

- The Edgar Cayce Resource Center has
a brief history of the man, plus an essay on "the most important thing we can do

according to Cayce is documented on an easy to read web site. This is only one section of a very
comprehensive site on Near Death
Experiences and the Afterlife. This beautiful web site has stories from over two dozen people
who have had NDEs. Each story has its own unique art work, which is worth the visit alone.
- Phenomena On-Line
is a great place to visit. A very unique feature of this site is a "PhenomenaCAM" which is "the
first live webcam featuring genuine events which are dedicated to the paranormal, the unexplained
and the unusual." Using an electronic magazine format, these web pages bring you the latest
weird news and current events.
- The Paranormal Research Primer promises "a
comprehensive overview of many paranormal subjects." It focuses on crop circles and UFOs, but
also looks at monster, Nostradamus, a list of paranormal publications, people related to the
paranormal, and much more. You may want to subscribe to the newsletter called "The
Strange."
- Richard Senate has a new web page dedicated to his work as a "Ghost Stalker." He promises to detail cases he has
worked on, his favorite ghost stories, and you can chat with his wife Debbie.
- If you want to get the low down on ghosts in Texas, visit Lone Star Spirits. You can
click on your favorite Texas town, and read about the spirits visiting that site.
- If you like the idea of having Halloween all year 'round, you will love Sunset
Angel's Halloween Page. She is also a graphic designer, and has tons of Halloween graphics
to share with you - some are animated - just be sure to give her a credit line, please. This is
definitely your one-stop-shopping for Halloween - year 'round! Highly recommended.
- The Halloween Alliance publishes a
quarterly magazine the developers say is dedicated to "Halloweenites-people hopelessly in love
with Halloween- [who] will find a wide range of interesting articles including features on
community celebrations, book reviews, collectibles and personal stories."
- If you consider miracles to be paranormal phenomena, you will not be surprised at the
number of Internet pages devoted to the Lady of Fatima. You might start at The Fatima Network, or the Fatima Reference site in Italian.
There is also The North
American Voice of Fatima on Line. The best source may be the master page of Fatima links.
- Among dozens of paranormal pages, Tomorrow's World
Plus offers a brief rundown on Borley Rectory. At one time, the owners of the site
conducted a vigil at a haunted site, and kept reader's posted on a nightly basis.
- Kennith Kelley has created a site he calls Kelley's Armchair Ghost Hunter. You
will find a great many photographs showing alleged hauntings from all over, plus stories sent in by
readers. Kelley will also tell you why he believes in ghosts. At the bottom of one picture page,
there are several Electronic Voice Phenomena files.
- On the other hand, George
Kanigowski has a different view (pun intended) of Paranormal Photography. He gives
examples, and then tells how he thinks they happened.
- Ken O'Neill (no relation) is gathering as many true ghost stories as contributors will send

serious reading, so be prepared.

- Pictures of ghosts are all the rage on the Internet, and the latest addition is Karen's Ghost Page.
- The Psychic Time Machine
offers a look at The Sixties, the Middle Ages, the Present, the Future, Ancient Times, the Roaring
20s, a Time Line, and References. There is a ton of information here, presented in short
(sometimes too short) snippets to whet your palate for more. If you go into the references index, however, the
longer articles are listed for you.
- A Short History of Mu
has been posted that makes Lemuria and Mu interchangeable.
- A very colorful web site indicates
this mysterious place was "Referred to as the Lost Continent of Mu or Lemuria by the European
Scholars - The old Hawaiians knew it by KA LU."
- A web site we have looked at before called The Strange, points out that "According to
author James Churchward, Lemuria was about 5,000 miles long and 3,000 miles wide."
- The Thule Foundation supplies a map
showing Lemuria in Madagascar. It believes this fabled continent was "the ancient land tying
India and Australia together."
- The Salem New Age Center believes,
"Lemuria existed largely in the Southern Pacific, between North America and Asia/Australia.
Lemuria is also sometimes referred to as Mu, or the Motherland (of Mu)."

- The Remote Viewing Instructional Services
explains what remote viewing is, how it came to the forefront, and how you can learn. There is a
charge to take one of three classes offered. A good site for an introduction to the subject, plus
links to other RV sites.
- Guy Lyon Playfair and Uri Geller look over The Geller Effect. This is a complete online
book detailing mental telepathy.
- If you are visiting Australia, be sure to stop by the Haunts of Brisbane. The site offers a guide
to hauntings in the area, a photo album, a collection of Electronic Voice Phenomena, true stories,
tour information, newspaper articles, and an invitation to become a member.
- There is a terrific online Ghostly Guide to Britain which
promises directions to "Haunted Hotels, Ghost Walks and more.." It delves into hauntings in
Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland.
- There is an Internet web site that gives a comprehensive look at Local Ghost Hunting Clubs.
It is broken down into individual states in America, and then other countries. This guide is part of
George and Pete's Ghost
Research and Paranormal Investigation Web Page. It focuses "mainly on Bachelor's Grove
Cemetery in Midlothian, Illinois," but other investigations are also discussed.
- The Ghost Research
Society was started in 1977 and was originally called The Ghost Trackers Club. Dale D.
Kaczmarek was originally the research director, and in 1982, he became owner and president.
"The newsletter has regular writers who produce their own columns namely: Tom

- It is absolutely amazing to read about the spiritual side of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The
creator of Sherlock Holmes started out as a critic, but then became a fanatic about the subject.

- The Parapsychology Foundation
in New York now has a web site. This organization was originally founded by famous psychic
Eileen Garrett.
- The most frequent request I get from my www.ghostbooks.com website is The Most
Haunted House In England. Running a close second, however, is Conjuring Up Philip
by my dear friend Iris Owen. The first Philip site I found was created by Jonas Liljegren, and although colorful, was not
available to me as it is in Swedish.
However, for linguists, this site also takes you to pages about Near Death Experiences and other
paranormal studies.
- In 1994, "eight undergraduate students and the professor of the Experimental
Parapsychology class at Franklin Pierce College" tried to recreate the Philip Experiment. Their

captain came back from the grave to visit College Park, Georgia. The tale involves a ship
lamp, and a cold spot.
- Rosemary Ellen Guiley has lent her name and support to the Angel Haven.
- A couple in England bought a house, discovered it was haunted, and then refused to pay for
it. Now the courts have to decide if the place is really supernatural.
- Several people have seen some
phantom kangaroos. Have you?
- John Zaffis and Mike Roberge have formed the
Paranormal Research Society of New England. They offer stories of some haunts in the area,
and some details of investigations they have conducted, including an Incubus and a poltergeist.
- If you enjoy the study of unknown or undiscovered animals, you just might be a
Cryptozoologist. If so, go to the CryptoWeb on the
Internet. This is a good source for an understanding of the subject, including case histories

- The Jersey
Devil? is described at one web site as, "being about four feet tall, with a large, hideous head
shaped like a horse."
- If you have ever thought about angels and ghosts, and if there could be a connection, take a
look at the information from Josh B. He gives one of
the most definitive definition of ghosts on the Internet.
- Art Bell has posted a fascinating picture on his web site that will make you think. He
explains, "A photo sent to us by Tara
and Kathy Thibault of a car accident scene. As bad as this looks, the driver was not hurt. Could it

- "Veronica" is also know as "The Devilish Lady," and she has a wonderful site that combines
English and Swedish pages. I went to her update page to get an overview,
since she has a tremendous amount of subjects to offer. Not all pages are about the paranormal,
but those that are deal with Amazon women, Atlantis, fairies, ghosts, witches, vampires, voodoo,
and much, much more.

will find more stories about fairies, elves, ands Druids.
- David R. Cowan has written a couple of
books about unexplained phenomena. His web site gives a preview of his work, and promotes the

- The web site Real Haunted Houses
has stated, "Our wish is to have a comprehensive list of haunted sites around the world and
describe each one."
- The Castle of Spirits. is "where
spirits haunt, ghosts wander freely and many, many spooky stories are to be told." One of the
most incredible features of this site is the availability in not only English but also in Spanish,
French, German, Italian, and Portugese!
- Ghost hunters are invited to visit with Ghost Labs. Centered in Tennessee, the site
features a long list of photos that include everything from angels to full bodied ghosts. There is
even a picture of hell!
- Ever hear the story of a hitchhiker than just disappeared from the back seat of the car that
picked him/her up? The San Fernando Valley Folklore
Society goes into GREAT detail to bring you just about any Urban Legend you have ever
heard of - and some you haven't.
- Even if you have never separated your spirit from the flesh, you may want to check out the
Out-of-Body Experience
Survey. If you HAVE had an OBE, submit your information. If not, read the reports of those
who profess to have done so.
- In England "A city council believes it may have proof that ghosts really do exist after
something strange was caught on film at a Victorian museum. Security cameras in
Belgrave Museum in Leicester appear to have captured pictures of ghostly apparitions in the
grounds of the museum."
- Those who believe in reincarnation may have already heard about the book, Children's Past Lives. This web site gives you a
