experience at Borley
I have visited Borley a couple of times and found the whole atmosphere of the place amazing. To be there, at the exact place where it all happened so long ago, was just brilliant. It will always be a 'sacred' place for me, and I will continue to make 'pilgrimages' there! I did have a couple of strange experiences too, the only time in my life when this has happened. Once, when I was in Borley church, I was sitting in one of the pews when I heard what sounded like a pen being dropped into the aisle. There was nobody else in there, and when I looked to see if I could see anything there, nothing! The second experience came when I was walking towards Lyston churchyard and experienced what felt to be a string being whipped lightly against my leg. Suffice to say, when I turned round there was nobody there.
