Rosemary Ellen Guiley is a best selling author, columnist and teacher on spirituality, metaphysics and visionary experience. Her work embraces the mystical, metaphysical and healing traditions of both West and East. Rosemary's study of and personal experiences in alchemy, energy healing, the ancient mystery traditions, mysticism, dreamwork, intuition, prayer, the angelic realm and the paranormal (including psi and ghosts and apparitions) have given her a unique perspective on the emerging spiritual consciousness of present times. She brings this perspective into her books and workshops, weaving insights that are inspirational and practical.

Rosemary presents lectures and workshops internationally, and appears on film, television and radio programs. She has written more than 20 books. Her work has been translated into 12 languages, selected by major book clubs, and published around the world. She has received commendations of excellence from the American Library Association for her Encyclopedia of Ghosts and Spirits and Encyclopedia of Witches and Witchcraft. Among her other books are The Encyclopedia of Angels, Harper's Encyclopedia of Mystical and Paranormal Experience, Atlas of the Mysterious in North America, Dreamwork for the Soul, The Encyclopedia of Dreams, The Miracle of Prayer and Prayer Works. She is co-author (with the artist Robert Michael Place) of two distinguished Tarot sets, The Alchemical Tarot and The Angels Tarot. Her work in dreams focuses on the spiritual dimensions of dreaming, and also on what dreams have to tell us about death, dying and the afterlife.

Rosemary is an Honorary Fellow of the College of Human Sciences, the professional membership division of the International Institute of Integral Human Sciences in Montreal, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the United Nations. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Religion and Psychical Research, the academic affiliate of the Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship International. She is an honorary lifetime member of the prestigious Ghost Club of London. She also is a member of the Board of Directors for Association for the Study of Dreams, and is the host/organizer of the ASD's international conference for the year 2000 in Washington, D.C.
