BORLEY GHOST SOCIETY

Associate Dennis William Hauck

I am an author, consultant, and lecturer working to facilitate personal and institutional transformation through the application of the ancient principles of alchemy. As one of the world's few practicing alchemists, I write and lecture on the universal principles of physical, psychological, and spiritual perfection to a wide variety of audiences that range from scientists and business leaders to religious and New Age groups.

My interest in alchemy began while I was still in graduate school at the University of Vienna, and I have since translated a number of important alchemy manuscripts dating back to the thirteenth century. My most recent book, The Emerald Tablet: Alchemy for Personal Transformation (Penguin 1999), presents new revelations and aplications for the mysterious "time capsule of wisdom" that inspired over 3,500 years of alchemy.

Much of my current research focuses on "exceptional human experiences," a term used to describe a wide variety of mystical and paranormal phenomena. I am convinced that a serious study of such events will lead to a better understanding of the true nature of human consciousness. I have written several books along these lines, including Haunted Places: The National Directory (Penguin 1996) a guide to over 2,000 locations in the United States where sacred energies can be found or where paranormal activity is taking place, and Captain Quirk (Pinnacle 1995) a biography of William Shatner detailing his UFO abduction experiences after the end of the "Star Trek" television series). My next book is Haunted Places: The International Directory (Penguin 2000) a guide to sacred sites and haunted places around the world.

I am a professional member of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, the American Society for Psychical Research, the National Speakers Association and the Authors Guild, and am listed in current editions of Who’s Who in California, the Dictionary of International Biography, and the International Authors and Writers Who’s Who.

I hold lectures and workshops throughout the world on the alchemy of higher consciousness and maintains two popular websites devoted to my studies: www.haunted-places.com and www.AlchemyLab.com. I also publish a free email newsletter called THE HAUCK REPORT to which you can subscribe at www.onelist.com/subscribe/HauckReport. The editor of the Hauck Report is Ron Beach. You can view the archives at www.onelist.com/archives/HauckReport. I also hold an online chat room on alchemy and personal transformation at the ADC website. More information is available at www.AlchemyLab.com/lectures.htm.
