BORLEY GHOST SOCIETY

Associate Steve Rose

I have had an interest in the paranormal for as long as I can remember. The house where I lived as a child, though modern, exhibited a number of strange phenomena which, whilst disturbing at the time, prompted me to investigate and which ultimately lead me to the conclusion that I don’t believe in Ghosts – I KNOW they exist.

As I was growing up, and especially as I went through my teenage years I discovered that I had the ability to sense whether a building or an area had a presence or not, something that I can still do today although to a lesser extent.

I have seen and experienced things that I cannot scientifically explain and although they sometimes frighten me, I am still fascinated by them.

I have been interested in the history of Borley for many years, first reading about it in one of Peter Underwood’s books and I intend to visit the area soon although I do not wish to intrude on the lives of the villagers who must be sick and tired of the many crack pots and thrill seekers that invade the village from time to time.

I just want to stop by and feel for myself if there is anything there or not. I believe that there was once but so many changes have happened over the past 50 or so years that any souls that wandered the area may well have moved on.

If any other associate would like to know more about my experiences please feel free to e-mail me.
