Photos and documents

As a result of my research, I have come across several key documents and photographs relating to Borley. For example, a photo of a "floating brick" was taken by a LIFE photographer visiting the ruins April 5, 1944 with Harry Price. Some think it is held in mid-air by a spirit. Others think it was caught by the camera as it was tossed by a workman. Simon Marsden took a mysterious photo behind the church in 1974. A friend of mine bought the End of Borley Rectory by Harry Price at a used bookstore in Rochester, Kent, England. She didn't notice the unusual photo pasted inside until she arrived home in Montana. David Bamber took a picture in 1995 that seems to feature Harry Price peering over a tombstone if you look at it closely. He returned in 1999, and came away with a picture of what appears to be a figure in the trees. Photographer Dick Gee can't explain why one picture he took in the church yard has some "mist" in the middle. In 1955, Picture Post published a strange photograph by Thurston Hopkins. This same photograph was re-printed by Two Worlds January 28,1956. Ray Armes took a picture July 28, 1975 that some say shows a wizened little old man. List of photos
